Blog Subscription

You can receive blog posts by email by subscribing to the newsletter; Below you can read how I treat your information.

Newsletter

Autosat Spa periodically sends out newsletters to:

- send useful materials on marketing or for strategies, tips, Case Studies or user feedback;

To subscribe, you can use the form found on the news page or within individual articles.

The newsletter is managed with GetResponse, and your email address is stored on GetResponse's servers and, periodically, in the backups I make of my list. You can read GetResponse's privacy policy and how they comply with GDPR requirements here.

GetResponse, offers information about who opens newsletters and clicks on links; this information is used to figure out if we write interesting topics or are boring so it is not read. FYI:

The data controller (find references and contact information at the top of this page); we do not give your email address to anyone else, for any reason (unless you give permission to do so); you can stop receiving the newsletter at any time, via the link at the bottom of each message.

Use of the contact form and data entered in comments or contacts

If you write from the Contacts page data is used to respond to you, and so if you write via e-mail or leave a comment on a post. Your data remains stored in our email archive (Exchange), in the site database (hosted on So You Start) if it is comments, and in my backups; Data is not given to anyone else unless you authorize us to do so.

If you have stated in your message that you would like to receive updates on what we do, or if you have checked the "Business Communications" option from each individual Contact form, you will be placed on the mailing list (see under Newsletter).

Navigating the site

We, like millions of other site owners, are curious about how many people visit the site, how many pages are opened, where readers come from, and stuff like that.

To get this data, we use Google Analytics, which is a great free service provided by Google; Google Analytics is set up so that your IP address is anonymized, through zeroing out the last part of the address itself.

The information generated by the Google Analytics cookie about your use of the website (including the first part of your IP address) is then transmitted to Google and stored on its servers in the United States. Google uses this information to track and examine visitors' use of the site, and provide this information, in aggregate and never linked to your identity, through Analytics reports and its other information services (e.g., Google Trends).

Google may transfer this information to third parties where this is required by law or where they process this information on its behalf; Google Analytics' privacy and data use policy is here.

We use analytics data to better understand what you like and dislike, and to improve the content of the site.

If you don't want to be "tracked" with Google Analytics, you can download the add-on that works with most popular browsers, and is distributed by Google.
